Sophie Olivier has over eight years of experience in Southern Africa’s non-profit sector: mentoring fundraisers, working on fundraising teams and elevating NPOs annual incomes. Sophie specialises in: applying for and managing multi-year grants; major international philanthropies; government funding and retaining donors.
Personal development highlights in Sophie’s career include winning the Donor’s Den fundraising pitch at the finale of Trialogue’s 2016 Corporate Social Investment conference. Sophie is also a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, network coordinator, and fundraiser.
Sophie grew up in the UK and graduated with honours in International Development Studies at Sussex University, Brighton, in 2009. In 2010 Sophie moved to South Africa, where she spent most of her time working with Non-Profits in the Western Cape. Now, as a South African permanent resident, she lives with her husband and infant son in Somerset West.
